If you haven't tried their cedar planks and wraps, you're missing out! I used my seafood rub on some prawns and put them in BCCGP's cedar wrap, threw them on the BBQ, and they were out of this world! Just a hint of smokey cedar, but what a difference! Their planks are amazing too! You can order online or buy their products from Thrifty's, among other places. Don't bother with the cheap imitations available at the big box stores...IMHO they don't even compare!
My first planked salmon was about 20 years ago at Salmon House on the Hill in North Vancouver. Seems to me it was marinated in scotch...YUM!!! I think I might have screamed out loud, I was so shocked at the amazing taste. Images of Meg Ryan's scene in the restaurant...
